Services

I support nonprofits and community partners with research-based evaluation, data system design, GIS mapping, interactive dashboards, and strategic communications that connect evidence to action. Rooted in more than a decade working alongside Louisville’s nonprofit and activist communities, I translate complex qualitative and quantitative data into clear, meaningful insights using tools like ArcGIS Pro, Tableau, and StoryMaps. My work spans public health, housing, food access, and economic justice, blending technical analysis with inclusive storytelling to help organizations understand their systems, communicate their value, and build capacity for long-term community change. Each project grows from grounding in place and relationships, using data and narrative to illuminate inequities, inspire collaboration, and support organizations as they plan, communicate, and advocate for more just and resilient futures.

Program Impact Evaluation & Analysis

I begin every evaluation and planning project with curiosity and collaboration. My goal is to understand your organization’s unique mission, programs, and context—recognizing that no two community initiatives are alike. Drawing on my PhD in Urban & Public Affairs and more than a decade of experience in Louisville’s nonprofit ecosystem, I design research-based frameworks that combine rigor with practicality.

From developing logic models and theories of change to integrating mixed-methods data collection and participatory evaluation tools, I help organizations clarify their goals, measure outcomes, and use findings to inform strategic growth. My background in literature and narrative analysis ensures that data is never divorced from story—each evaluation tells a deeper truth about impact, resilience, and the people behind the numbers.

Data Management Solutions

I help organizations make sense of their data—simplifying, systematizing, and visualizing it in ways that drive strategy and strengthen impact. My work includes designing tools for data collection and measurement, creating dashboards that translate complex metrics into accessible insights, and conducting spatial analyses using Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

I’m particularly passionate about using mapping and data visualization to bridge the gap between public health, housing, and community development—making invisible inequities visible and actionable. Whether developing a simple spreadsheet tracker or an interactive, web-based dashboard, I focus on usability and sustainability. My goal is to leave clients with data systems that are not only functional but empowering—tools that enhance storytelling, accountability, and long-term learning.

Strategic Communications

Data tells us what is happening; storytelling helps us understand why it matters. I work with organizations to connect these two threads through strategic communications that inspire action and deepen connection. My approach blends narrative thinking with technical skill—drawing on my MA in Literature, years of writing and editing experience, and an extensive background in nonprofit development.

I craft targeted messaging, compelling reports, and multi-modal communication strategies that align with organizational goals. This includes developing fundraising narratives, identifying and pursuing aligned grants, preparing budgets, and refining proposals to meet funder guidelines. I also support teams in translating data into story—ensuring that each chart, map, or dashboard communicates meaning as well as measurement. Ultimately, my goal is to help organizations articulate their value with clarity and confidence, amplifying both their message and their mission.

Rate

I work flexibly with organizations depending on project scope, timing, and budget.

My standard hourly rate is $75/hour.

However, I also offer monthly retainers for ongoing support, as well as project-based pricing tailored to key deliverables and timelines.
